ABOUT
Who is behind this
You are about to put your children into someone's software. It is fair to want to know whose.
Infinight is made by Kluk Insights, a small company in the Netherlands. It started the way these things usually do, which is with a bedtime and a book that was nearly right. The stories on the shelf were fine. They were also about somebody else's child, in somebody else's house, and the five year old listening had opinions about that.
The idea is not that a machine should write your child's stories. It is that you should be able to say who is in it and what happens, and get back something worth reading twice, on a Tuesday, when you have twenty minutes and no illustration skills. Everything in the app that slows you down is there on purpose: you read the words before anything is drawn, you approve the pictures, and you can throw any of it away.
We are deliberately small and we intend to charge money for this rather than selling anything about your family. That is the whole business model, and it is why there are no ads and no trackers.
If you want to tell us the story that worked, or the one that came out badly, we read everything.
Tonight's story could have her name in it
It takes about ten minutes to make the first one, and you keep it whether or not you ever pay us a cent.
No card, no password. One book to keep, whatever you decide after.
